Kingdom Assignment 2
On Sunday, March 5, 2006 Kingdom Assignment 2 was given to The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch. Pastor Jerry asked "What treasures stand between you and a significant relationship with God?" Using scripture in Luke 10 about the Rich Young Ruler, Jerry challenged the members of our congregation to sell something with a value of $100 or more that stands between them and God; to take something that is a hindrance and turn it into a blessing for someone else. Everyone who made a commitment to participate was asked to bring the money they received for their "treasure" on Easter Sunday, April 16 to be collected and given to the poor in our community.

The results were amazing with $11,536 collected ! This money will be used through The Fellowship at Cinco Ranch's ministry to the needy in Katy, Compassion Katy .
