Starfish Two Year Olds
Welcome to the Starfish class! In this exciting class of 2 year olds, your child will be introduced to the love of Jesus Christ through simple Bible stories and fundamental age appropriate activities. The goals for this class are to introduce the cornerstones of learning while promoting social and emotional development, cognitive and language skills, and most of all, spiritual development.
Your child will be encouraged to explore their environment, develop self-help skills, cooperation, and the ability to share. As they begin their first steps to potty training, we will work with you to provide the best possible foundation for success in a supportive and nurturing environment.
We will introduce the alphabet, numbers 1- 10, and basic shapes and colors through hands on activities during their daily circle time. Each day, your child will have the opportunity to create a wonderful work of art that we will proudly display in our classroom. We will send their artwork home the following week for you to keep and enjoy. During the second semester, they will be introduced to name recognition, AB Pattering, sequencing, and simple science.
In the Starfish class, we love our children and we strive to teach them to interact and participate in prayer and to understand the love of God.
