Mission:

Compassion Katy exists to serve the body of Christ as a portal for the mobilization of the Church into the city, to become an indispensable blessing by demonstrating God's love, justice, mercy, and blessing to those who are in need throughout the greater Katy area.

Focus:

• To bring awareness to the Church of the many needs of our city and its people.
• To connect the larger body of Christ to those needs and the need meeting agencies of our city.
• To maintain an ongoing website that communicates how both individuals and churches can become an indispensable blessing to our city.  The website will also be a place to celebrate by sharing the stories of transformation and blessing.
• To develop relationships and partnerships between need meeting agencies in our city and the Church.
• To catalyze the development of new ministries and organizations to meet unmet needs in our city.

Goal: 

To become an indispensable blessing to a thankful city by bringing the Church and need meeting agencies together to be the hands and feet of compassion to those in need.  To become the "go to" resource for churches, community, agencies, and individuals with the desire of being an indispensable blessing to the city of Katy.

Target:

Compassion Katy has been called to the greater Katy area that includes all Katy area zip codes, Brookshire, and KISD.  Identified needs outside of this area will be referred to another organization or agency for assistance.
